Light the Therapeutic Path
Principles for Safe & Manageable Progress 90 minutes: Starts at 11 am Central Time
Service Description
Trauma and other challengine cases often include many complexities that motivate therapists to seek additional education and/or consultation. Therapy can halt, progress slowly, or destabilize clients. Often therapists turn to other modalities, and seek further training on additional treatment modalities not realizing it isn’t their treatment strategies but the over all treatment approach. The P-principles adapted from Ego State theory and therapy emphasize the importance of priming our therapeutic work for safety and connection by providing respectful strategies and language that keep in mind the unique needs of the entire system of self including attachment style. This workshop will provide a basic understanding of these principles and provide you with ways to incorporate them into your therapeutic approach regardless of what treatment modalities you are using to promote safe and manageable progress.
